Behind the sophisticated world of designer Valentina Giovando
The installation created for Milan Design Week 2014 involved interior decoration elements created by the artist/designer who commissioned the work: a series of frames divide and multiply the images of Valentina and her creations, shaping their poetic impact and opening a window onto her imaginary world.
Loosely based on the works of Sergei Parajanov, a director that is very dear to Karmachina, For your eyes only is made up of a contrapunctal play of dream like yet extremely realistic settings as a way of staging the true nature of the artist’s creations: craft works that are intimately connected to an extremely poetic and artistic dimension.
