Tríptiko, the multimedia concert inspired by the works of Bosch in the Prado Museum

Every year the Princess of Asturias Foundation convenes the Princess of Asturias Awards, that are presented during a solemn ceremony held in Oviedo (Spain), the capital city of the Principality of Asturias. This year the award for the Communication and Humanities category will be conferred to the Prado Museum, the most important cultural institution in Spain and one of the most important art galleries in the world, which has recently celebrated the 200th anniversary of its foundation.

Every year the Awards ceremony, presided over by Their Majesties The King and Queen of Spain, is accompanied by a series of events organised by the Foundation to present prize winning institutions and personalities of the current edition to the wider public.

Following the success of Belleza y locura, the film-narration by Rino Stefano Tagliafierro, co-founder of Karmachina, and produced by El País Semanal to celebrate the Prado Museum’s 200th anniversary, the Princess of Asturias Foundation decided to entrust Karmachina with the creation and realisation of a multimedia concert dedicated to a selection of masterpieces held by the museum in Madrid. The works of the painter Hieronymus Bosch were chosen for their exceptional visionary strength, a never-ending source of inspiration for a highly evocative audio-visual project, with music by Fernweh.
