Factory 1895, created by KARMACHINA on a creative project by RAA – Ralph Appelbaum Associates, is an experiential factory celebrating 1895 Coffee Designers by Lavazza. The multimedia journey guides visitors through the coffee’s story—from its origins in shade-grown plantations to research, innovation, and production—offering an immersive exploration of quality, craftsmanship, and the meticulous process behind Lavazza’s specialty coffee.
The narrative highlights the craft of the 1895 Coffee Designers, following their quest for the rarest beans in Yemen and the meticulous steps of creation. Multimedia storytelling combines the designers’ voices, motion graphics, and immersive video to reveal the artistry, precision, and passion behind Lavazza coffee, making every moment both educational and sensorially engaging.
The journey culminates in the coffee cave, where a 360° tasting experience under two animated domes immerses guests in flavour, sight, and sound.
