Opening Saturday 14 May 2022, on the occasion of the European Night of Museums, a new video installation is dedicated to the painting of Jerusalem created in the 17th century on the Porta Triumphalis of the Flavian Amphitheatre. Born from the collaboration between the Colosseum Archaeological Park, Electa and KARMACHINA, the new visiting experience brings this lost work back to life within the very space it once adorned, offering visitors an unprecedented glimpse into a forgotten chapter of the Colosseum’s history.
