G.D. | OPEN ART

G.D. | OPEN ART, produced by Balich Wonder Studio, honours the 100th anniversary of G.D., a leading high-tech packaging company headquartered in Bologna. The event brought the city’s masterpieces to life, projecting artworks from museums such as Pinacoteca Nazionale, MAMbo, Morandi Museum, and Palazzo Poggi onto the walls of Basilica di Santo Stefano and surrounding buildings, creating a collective, immersive celebration of art and heritage.

The projections curated by KARMACHINA highlighted the beauty of artworks housed in Bologna’s museums, from classic paintings to modern collections. Open Vision, a complementary immersive installation at Basilica di San Domenico, extended the narrative indoors, allowing visitors to explore the city’s artistic treasures through digital storytelling, video animation, and a carefully composed audiovisual experience.
