After its success at the Palacio Real in Madrid, the retrospective Sorolla Through Light arrives at Fundación Bancaja in Valencia. Produced by Light Art Exhibition and realised by KARMACHINA under the artistic direction of Gianfranco Iannuzzi, the exhibition showcases 45 original works alongside immersive environments and virtual experiences, celebrating the painter’s life and luminous style.

The multimedia installation immerses visitors in Sorolla’s world using monumental 360° LED screens. Covering 215 square metres and 32 million pixels with an 8-speaker spatial audio system, the space integrates paintings, photographs, drawings, and period materials, transforming the environment into a dynamic, multisensory journey through gardens, beaches, and everyday life under the artist’s light.

Structured in eight chapters, the exhibition traces Sorolla’s life and subjects—from sunlit beaches to lush gardens—through over 200 selected works. Original paintings, digital animation, and audiovisual treatment combine with a soundtrack by Alberto Modignani, merging music and ambient sound to bring the images to life and offer visitors an emotional, fully immersive experience.
